What Vividscloud does, and who it's for
Vividscloud is an offshore investment advisory firm founded in 2019 and headquartered in Thika, Kenya. We work with East African founders, privately held businesses, and family offices that need to structure their international assets, access offshore banking, and meet their cross-border compliance obligations — without paying for services they don't need or receiving advice designed around a product sale. Our clients range from Kenyan tech founders raising capital from international investors to import-export businesses with multi-currency revenue, property investors with assets in multiple countries, and holding companies managing subsidiary operations across the continent. What they share is a need for advice that is technically grounded, jurisdiction-specific, and documented — not verbal guidance based on what worked for a different client in a different market five years ago. We operate entirely in the charcoal-and-gold space between strategy and execution: we design structures, write the analysis, coordinate the professionals, and track the compliance calendar. We are not a law firm, an audit firm, or a registered agent, and we don't pretend to be.
How the team works and what you can expect
The Vividscloud team has completed over 140 structuring and compliance mandates since 2019, across Mauritius, the BVI, the UAE, and the Seychelles. Every engagement starts with a scoping call and ends with a written deliverable — a structure memo, a compliance report, a jurisdiction comparison, or a banking documentation pack. We don't do informal advice. We maintain current working relationships with licensed registered agents in each of our core jurisdictions, which means we're not guessing about what a bank or regulator actually wants to see right now. Our advisory process is sequential: understand the client's situation fully before recommending anything; model the options before committing to one; document the rationale so the client can challenge it and share it. If a situation falls outside our technical scope — a Kenyan tax law question, a local property law issue, a KRA dispute — we say so and refer to qualified professionals rather than stretch to cover ground we shouldn't. Engagement timelines vary by mandate: a structuring analysis runs three to four weeks; a banking facilitation runs six to twelve weeks depending on the institution; annual compliance monitoring is ongoing. We quote fixed fees per mandate, billed in advance, with no hidden retainers.
