International architecture for forward-thinking founders

Most Kenyan businesses outgrow the domestic market before they outgrow their legal structure. Vividscloud exists to close that gap. We map your revenue streams, ownership goals, and regulatory exposure, then build an offshore framework — entity type, jurisdiction, banking layer, and compliance calendar — that matches your actual situation rather than a generic template. Every recommendation is grounded in current FATF guidance, CRS obligations, and the treaty network relevant to your industry.

“We had a BVI holding company sitting idle for two years because nobody had properly explained the substance requirements to us. Vividscloud audited the structure in three weeks, filed the overdue declarations, and restructured our IP layer so it actually works for us now. The charcoal-and-gold clarity of their reporting made the whole process feel manageable.”

Why jurisdiction selection is the decision that defines everything else

Choosing a jurisdiction isn't just about tax rates — it's about bank acceptance, treaty access, nominee rules, and how the structure reads to a counterparty in London, Dubai, or Singapore. Mauritius gives you Africa-focused treaty coverage. The BVI gives you flexibility and speed. The UAE offers a zero-tax environment with growing substance infrastructure. Each path has trade-offs, and we document them honestly. We don't push one jurisdiction over another; we map your specific variables and model the outcomes so you can make an informed choice.

Questions clients ask before the first call

Is offshore structuring legal for a Kenyan-resident business?

Yes — provided you comply with Kenya's exchange control rules, CRS reporting obligations, and the substance requirements of whichever offshore jurisdiction you use. The structure is only as clean as the compliance behind it, which is why we treat compliance as a first-class deliverable, not an afterthought.

How long does it take to incorporate an offshore entity?

BVI and Seychelles typically complete in five to seven business days. Mauritius GBL structures take three to five weeks due to the licensing process. UAE free-zone companies average two to four weeks. We give you a timeline in writing before any engagement begins.

Do you provide nominee directors or shareholders?

We work with regulated nominee service providers in Mauritius and the BVI and coordinate those introductions on your behalf. We do not act as nominee ourselves — maintaining that separation protects both parties and keeps the structure clean for banking purposes.

What does an engagement with Vividscloud cost?

Engagements are priced per scope — a structuring analysis is a fixed deliverable, banking facilitation is a separate retainer, and compliance monitoring is an annual fee. We provide a written quote after the scoping call. We do not charge for the initial consultation.
